Things I love

I absolutely love Valentine's Day. Now some of you may think that this is because I have such an amazing husband who does lovely things, but in fact as a married couple we have had pretty much flops for Valentine's Day.
I have always loved Valentine's Day and to get into the spirit of things I will post some of the things that I loved about today and yesterday!
1. Lindor truffles (if you have never had them you have never had chocolate)
2. I love this dress: http://www.shabbyapple.com/p-437-carousel.aspx (and pretty much every dress on this website)
3. The target dollar aisle (enough said, right)?
4. Our car broke down yesterday and when I was explaining to Lauren that the man was going to hook it up to his truck and take it somewhere to be fixed Lauren said "our car broke? We put tape on it!!!"
5. French dip sandwiches for dinner (Thanks Natalie for introducing me; I am totally hooked)
6. I love our new Community Center where we will be spending every second at from now on.
7. I love that in a 1/100,000,000 chance my girls slept till 8:30am. Yahoooooo.
8. Cinnamon french puff things (thanks Kim, sorry I can't remember the name)!!! They were super-good.
I hope all of you will think about the things and people that we love this Valentine season. And yes it is a season to me!!

I'm glad you like the new community center. It's a better place to spend time at than Michaels....for your wallet, anyway. :) I'm happy you've been getting out...I cannot wait until the weather warms up!

Love the dress from Shabby Apple! I found that website for the first time when I was 8 months pregnant, and just looked and looked at all of the dresses that I wanted to wear after I was no longer pregnant. Unfortunately I forgot to take into account the fact that we still don't have any money...maybe I can get one for a graduation present!

I am ready to be introduced to the french dip sandwich..email it to me along with the grape salad! So how long is the valentine season exactly? ps. Marcia and Gaylen have a blog to comment on now;)

I like the dress, don't like the weird position the model is in, and wishing the price tag wasn't so high. Is the french dip easy to make? I love Lauren's response--it's a better idea than using Windex! (reference to Big Fat Greek Wedding if you don't remember:)

Shabby Apple dresses are very cute, and I have yet to own one. Maybe someday when we're not students.

As far as Lindor Truffles, yes, they're very good, but they don't hold a candle to my grandmother's hand-dipped truffles and chocolates. Sorry :). But I know I'm spoiled with them.

P.S. I laughed at your comment about Joel. You would probably get along just fine, because he is intelligent and has many other interests he talks about besides sports :).

Now Jeff doesn't have any excuse about not knowing what to get you for Valentine's Day. :) I love Shabby Apple, too... If only I had the money!
