I DID IT

2010 is the year to say "I DID IT," and so here are some things that I want to say I did in 2010. Now that I am saying these things to all of you readers out there, I might need you to motivate me to get some of them done.

1. Eat a Klondike bar. I have always heard the theme song "What would you do for a Klondike bar?" But I had no idea what they were. The other day I saw them at Target, bought them and "I DID IT."

2. Go to a concert. I have never been to a concert.

3. Write a children's book. I have some ideas, but they are just ideas.

4. Submit an article to the Ensign. I have one written, but I need to work on it a bit more.

5. Go water skiing. I am a bit afraid of the water, so this one might be tricky.

6. Run a half-marathon. I'm only half serious about this, so I won't feel too bad if I don't get to say "I did it."

7. Register for classes. I want to go back to school, and though the timing is not ideal, I know that I'll never do it if I don't do it soon.

8. Go to Arizona, or somewhere south. Just because I want to.

This is a year of firsts. So when you see a post entitled "I DID IT," you'd better check out my latest first. Yahoooo.

Do I know you at all???? Seriously. Write an article for the Ensign?? I didn't know you liked to write that kind of thing..Definitely can see the Children's book thing though. I could see you running a half marathon before I saw you water skiing. AND SCHOOL...I thought part of the reason you wanted to get married and have kids was so you didn't have to go to school anymore....SERIOUSLY. I don't know you. I guess people grow and change so good luck with your lists of Firsts! sounds ambitious!

Good luck, I had no idea you were so ambitious. That's a lot of stuff to do in one year. By the way did you like the Klondike bar? And surely you have been to a concert, some sort of concert. Do you have a jogging stroller so you can train for your half-marathon? I am excited to see how many of these you accomplish.

True to the getting married so I didn't have to go to school anymore, but I want to be an interior designer, I'm just not sure how to do that. I do have a double jogging stroller, but have you ever pushed one of those things. I wouldn't be able to run a block.

South.......we are definitely south! (: Come and swim! (well it's cold right now but should be warm soon). I love these ideas. You could always do an online degree through BYU-Idaho and have me as a teacher!! (: I'm going to read the posts below, but the sick children watching thomas need a real parent again. sigh...... I like the new format!

I admire your ideas, and I'll probably make a similar list after we're done with all this moving stuff! :) And how was the Klondike Bar?

Ah, I wouldn't do too much for a klondike bar. It's basically an ice cream popsicle without the stick.

You're so funny!!! (Of course) I push the half marathon. But I gotta tell you, the schedule I am following is set up for people who can already run thirty minutes straight without stopping. I don't know where you are with that.
I also push for the children's book. People always say 'write about the things you know.' I wrote one (unpublished-obviously) called 'When Mommy went to the Hospital'. I wrote it for Zeke when I was pregnant with Reid. It is fun.
Good luck!!!!!

I have never had a klondike bar either! I think if you pick the right concert you will love it! We are more south than you, and will be awaiting your arrival for a visit. I would love to go back to school as well. Even though Tony is in school still as well;)

Would you consider wakeboarding instead of water skiing? I think that John and I are going to live at my parent's house this summer, which is on a lake. They have a boat, and I plan on becoming a good wake boarder...you should join me.
