Well not exactly but I thought that I would post some pictures of our beautiful girls in their Easter dresses. We had a lovely Easter weekend spent mostly in Lincoln.
My Mom did a scavenger hunt for us grown up kids because we begged her. She is a brilliant poemest (I think I just made that word up, I believe the correct word would be poet). All the clues rhyme AND make sense, something that I can't seem to accomplish.
Lauren "pre-hair bow" on Easter
Lauren's piano recital (sorry for interrupting aunt La-La's recital (what can you do-she's two))
Here is Miss McKenna in her Easter dress. She is such a sweet baby.
Our Easter Family picture. Thanks to Alissa who took about a hundred pictures and this is the best one. Yep you guessed it. It was the first one she took. And yes I am aware that I clash with the rest of my family (ahh the beauty of black and white).
Life has been pretty chill here (what can I say, my niece stayed here for a week and she rubbed off on me). I went for a run tonight and decided child bearing t'aint (thanks for the word Marni) good for the body. I think that anyone who gives birth will be guaranteed a glamour body in the resurrection. Oy Vey. Speaking of which I found out that I can watch the Nanny on YouTube. So exciting. Needless to say I haven't been taking a nap the last couple of days (shame on me).
Jeff and I went on a date on Friday to P.F. Changs it was so fun to have a date planned in advance so I could go shopping and get a new outfit (I used to do that when we were dating). When he figures out how much this "date" cost us, he will probably never ask me out again. (Thanks again to Natalie and Jeremy for watching the kiddos).
Update for Marni: Lauren has started to fall asleep in her bed. Despite all of our efforts (and my reluctance to admit it) I think the reason she started was because of Tellytubbies, the part where they get into their bed. So no more door kicking thank goodness.
Here are some random pictures of what we have been up to the last couple of weeks. Hope all is well with all my blogging friends.
Here is Lauren sporting a crown that we made together.
Hi-Ho-Hi-Ho its off to ..... I go (I remember my Dad singing that before he left for work sometimes).
One of my most recent "culinary masterpieces" Lemon Curd. The cups are chocolate. Aren't they adorable. (You can buy them at Target).
This is a picture of our Missy May on her blessing day. Thanks to all of our family and friends who came from near and far and in between to show love.

Ahh what an exciting post!!!! I had so many comments all through out the post, I'm not sure I remember them anymore. Ever since you told be about the Nanny, I've been fighting temptation to watch it while I'm at work. You weren't able to crop the picture?? sad. I tried but you aren't an easy family to take a picture of. :) And where is the picture of your date outfit? I like the "Missy May" nickname especially since you have "Lady Belle" for Lauren. (you may not have a child named Bella but you've got a girl nicknamed Belle.) :) Okay, I think that's it!
What a fun post. I love the family picture, the baby blessing picture, and the LEMON CURD pic! Yum.
Looking great!
Darn, if I would have known you were going to PF Changs, I would have forced Jeff to stop studying and come. He's never been there and I love it, but won't go with him unless there's more than just us so that we can share/try more dishes.
Your lemon curd looks great (but why do they call it curd? Curd is a word that would make one think it tastes bad.) Are you going to the PULSE dinner Friday? Jeff (of course) wants to study, but it is at the institute, so I feel we need to represent (who else besides us and Jeremy are LDS?) Cute pics!
Loved the update and I want to know why I wasn't invited to the blessing??? JK...I'm happy for you guys!
Love it all! I just found out that there's a PF Chang's in Boise, maybe for my birthday we can go there. McKenna looks lovely and so does her big sister!
I LOVE that the teletubbies have solved the problem! HAhaha. Thanks to ridiculous media, and if Lauren wants a crinkly silver blankie and the clever noo noo to help her out, I'll send you some.
The pictures are adorable. Miss L is so grown up, what a pianist already, good heavens. You look great in the green dress, and I think it's good to be wearing green since it's my favorite color. Who cares if it clashes (Which I didn't notice, but I need an eye for fashion help!).
I saw pointy toe shoes at a thrift store today (not my size) and nearly bought them to wear with jeans and be stylish like you......alas they didn't fit.
Jogging and pregnancy don't mix ugh. I want the glamor resurrection bod!
loves to you!
I forgot to say that I think it's hilarious that you like the Nanny. Her voice.................So nasal!
You looked HOT for your date with Jeff. Made me feel like a bad wife for wearing jeans and sweatshirt when we go out. :) You definitely need to post a picture.
Your girls looked adorable in their Easter dresses. PF Changs...yummmm. I hope you had their lettuce wraps; they are the best. I loved your comment about how once Jeff figured out how much your date cost he wasn't going to ask you again...that is pretty funny!
More to say.......I am teaching the online class (thus the lame not calling you back until I remembered right now, on the way to church, ugh).
1. I checked out shopaholic series. I'm excited.
2. We do have a LOVELY lawn, I wish you guys were here each day that we go out and play. It's a Big lawn and needs Songsters. It's a bit windy for babies, but NE is windy right??
3. I must have had pregnancy on the brain, as I said pregnancy and jogging. It's not a + at this point, but I had it on my brain. I nearly broke my toe, and that ALSO does not go well with jogging. Women were meant for water aerobics perhaps?
We miss you!
